In May of 2022, I became a registered mediator in Indiana, enhancing my skill set to mediate conflicts and establish resolutions that are in the best interest of all parties involved, especially the children. To further deepen my knowledge in the specific area of Parenting Coordination, I recently completed the “Nuts and Bolts of Parenting Coordination” course through the Indy Bar in September 2023, which provided me with 13 hours of intensive PC training.

Over the past 25 years, I have devoted myself to working directly with children and their families in various capacities. My tenure with First Steps and my experience as a teacher have equipped me with profound insights into child development and the unique challenges families can face. These experiences have ingrained in me the importance of understanding, patience, and adaptability, qualities I believe are crucial for any Parenting Coordinator.

Currently, I am employed with Dixon & Moseley, PC, where I have been serving as the office manager since August 2021. This role has further cultivated my organizational and communication skills, and I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with a diverse range of professionals, enhancing my interdisciplinary understanding of family dynamics and legal implications.

I also have been working with several families in Terre Haute through a special initiative they have.

One of my core strengths lies in my ability to connect with parents authentically, meeting them where they are and guiding them in a direction that is constructive and positive. Given the complexities surrounding educational decisions and child development matters, I believe I can offer invaluable guidance and support to parents navigating these challenges, fostering an environment of understanding and collaboration.
